Is a Chicago DUI different?
Yes and No. DUI defense law is consistent throughout Illinois. However, each county, and in many cases, each courthouse has their own set of rules and procedures. In Chicago in particular, your lawyer must know the local court rules, the Judges and the prosecutors. That's true of Chicago DUI, Cook County DUI generally, DuPage DUI cases or anywhere else.
